I was looking through one of my old notebooks and found a poem I wrote a few years ago:
Looking at my life
What I've done and have yet to do
Trying to find the purpose
Knowing it was awesomely created by You
I have to wonder to myself
Why you'd use me and if I can do it right
And with every step I take
Trying so hard to walk in Your light
Many times I just feel useless
And unworthy to answer Your call
Fear seems to grab my heart
Convincing me that I'll fall
I feel like I've gone deaf
To Your voice that gives direction
Never doing anything right
And constantly needing correction
I feel so far away
When I need to be so close
Questions crowd my mind
Wondering if I'm really one You chose
So here I am again
In desperate need of Your help
Asking once again
To feel what I once felt
To be so sure of my calling
Knowing it's what I was created for
To feel Your presence in my life
And everyday to love You more
A wonderful refreshing of your talent for writing my dear! Keep seeking the Lord with all your heart and He will guide your footsteps to places He created you for. His plans for you are great! You are full of capability, potential and definitely have lots of things to add to this life. Remember why you do what you do and that nothing is more important than your relationship with Jesus and His desire that your relationship with Him be an intimate one - you knowing His heart and of course, He knows yours. I love you forever!!
